I will hopefully be heading to Gary from Marshfield by the end of next week and I was wondering if someone could tell me the current details of what is involved in the securement training in Gary, IN. How many days is it, what will be involved, any kind of schedule, etc. I just want to be prepared before I get there.
Thanks!

I'm currently in the securement class in Gary. They will put you up at The Inn of Hammond just outside of Gary (about a 10 minute drive). The first day they may say to be there at noon but don't bother till 1pm because we got there at noon and they were going to lunch. They will buy your dinner at the end of the first 1/2 day and also provide lunch on the second day. The hotel has a decent free continental breakfast from 7am till 10am but your second day you will have to be in by 7am so plan on buying breakfast.

Thanks!
What about the time with a local driver? Does that still happen or do they send you on your own after training?
I did a search earlier today, but the info changed over time, so I'm trying to get the most current. -
Also, did anyone get assigned a truck out of Marshfield and run to Gary? If so, are you staying in the truck or did you have to give the truck up?
Again, thanks! -
I can't say how it will work for you, I came here after completing the three week RDTC training. At the end of the day tomorrow I go home for a few days till I got out with a trainer.
