I am doing great. I am running dedicated too. I love it other than the traffic in Atlanta at times. Yes, I always do my pre and post trips. I have caught some things before they got out of hand. I will look for you when I am out. Hope you are still liking Superior. I don't believe we could have done much better.

Ran local on Monday. Headed out Tuesday to pick up a dedicated load going to Indiana and the trailer was not ready at said appt. time. Got there at 3:30pm and did not leave out until a little after 8pm. Needless to say I was not making the 600 mile trip all in one run at that point. Stopped at the Loves ts halfway through Kentucky for the night and finished up the drive on Wednesday. Got unloaded and still had 6 hours of driving left on the clock so I headed back and made it to the Ky/Tn state line and camped out at the Flying J. Finished up the drive on Thursday and camped out at the Morrow terminal for the night. Ran up to Chattanooga on Friday and picked up a dirty trailer at one customer, took it to the tank wash and waited for it to get cleaned then drove to another customer and dropped it. Headed back home. Got to Winder terminal about 8:30pm last night.
Only have today off. Head back out Sunday to Richmond VA for a Monday a.m. delivery. Debating whether or not to add the Sunday miles to this coming check or not. Despite only being able to make one full dedicated run due to the delay, I think my check will still be decent all things considered. Picked up a few hours on the delay and an extra night of sleeper berth pay. I may save the miles for the next check just in case. -
Had my first breakdown last night. Turbo gave out on me. It just said blahh... Was stuck on the shoulder of the freeway for three hours until the tow truck got there. That was not fun. I was a nervous wreck.
Currently sitting in a hotel room near Durham while the truck get's repaired. Hopefully it will be done by mid-day Wednesday. They had to order a turbo as no one near by had one in stock.
I guess now I am fully initiated into trucking

As soon as I broke down I notified my dispatch and they got someone in route to grab the trailer. Delivery was a little late but still got there today as scheduled. It was not raining last night but I woke up to rain this morning. Been raining here all day but supposed to clear out this evening.

Has anybody heard of a flexibility physical involving your back? It's not done at the same location as your dot physical. Thanks and good luck on your career at Superior.

They started the dexterity tests shortly after I started. There's a video of the dexterity test here.

Superior has you go to a rehab clinic that gives the physical performance evaluation but nothing involving back flexibility. It might be flexed a little doing some of the exercises but not to any extreme. I think the main focus is on your heart rate as they monitor it the whole time and it can't exceed something like 90% of your target heart rate based on your age. I have rods and screws in my back and I passed it with no trouble.
Check out the video link that david posted. -
Thanks I appreciate it!
