US Xpress truck was holding up the parking lot in IL this afternoon. He was trying to back in and I guess just having a crappy day. He was in the spot but I guess since he couldn't tell where his blind side was from the driver's seat, he saw the line of trucks and aborted. Then he went around the corner and started all over on a spot to his left, but he kept slidin off the clutch too fast and had his truck hopping like it had hydraulics... Meanwhile the line is getting longer and the radio is going crazy woth advice. Another driver helped him get into the spot and I waited pretty patiently. Still too easy for me to remember the last time I had a day like that. Don't know if he was making money or not but he sure as hell didn't enjoy today.

 

they can't slide off the clutch too fast they all run auto shifts just fyi

it makes it look like they have no clue how to drive

 

They are not all autos anymore....started switching to manuals last year. I left USX in Feb and have been asked twice to come back.....NO THANK YOU

Husband did drive for US X for a year in 2007 before the miles kept going down
