Hi Getstepn....thanks for the post I know you feel our pain lol...my poor bank account. I agree the sitting part does suck especially when you come off home time and they give you a 100 mi run that doesn't deliver for 2 days and no you can't deliver earlier cause it's Sunday...lmao.... I do believe you are right though and perhaps this is just a weird time right now and hopefully things will get better. We are definitely talking about going back to OTR I guess we will see what happens cause I know he hates the cold weather in the northern states...says his bones are getting too old for that kinda weather lol. Stay safe

TX seem really slow and lots of OTR trucks. ...maybe he can just ask if they can let him take a load out of his region ...I've heard other regional drivers taking loads say to Cali or NJ to get the miles...just a thought....

Yup he is regional right now...south central I think they call it TX,OK and so on.... @Paul Perhaps I will see if he can ask for an out of region load, didn't know you could do that, but never asked either so thanks for that suggestion for sure.

He is stuck right now in the Houston area waiting for unload and now they unassigned his next load because his pickup time was compromised and they didn't think he could get there, so hopefully they will get him something or this week we will not even hit 700. Does anybody at these docks ever work with a sense of urgency? Sheesh...some days they are the SLOWEST. PEOPLE. EVER!
So did your miles get better when you went back OTR TruckerPete?

    Thanks Pete for helping.
Sitting at the CW freight yard in houston because of a customer refusal, items damaged and customer wanted pics so claims sent him there (Non boxed bleach bottles btw) and he is pissed cuz no one will get on the ball to get him the rest of the way out from under this load...they have an empty for him there, but now he is stuck for the night...out of hours. Now they say they are waiting for email from customer to make a decision on what to do from here. What does that have to do with him dropping the trailer there and moving on? Very frustrating... Who does he need to talk to there about getting back on OTR please???

Most of the time if something is damaged & refused ..they just tell you to discard it...unless its like a 55 gal drum that he can't move...make sure he is splitting his hrs so he can get a load quicker ...8 hrs sleep ...then two hrs off ..later will get him on the board quicker than waiting the full ten...
