Hello I drive for Heyl Trucking myself and I am very happy with the company, I do OTR and yes dispatch can improve on there trip and sit time. Heyl runs electronic logs and can drive only 11 hrs out of 24. no more until 10 hr break is up. Over all great company,

That's great Heyl is working for you but that doesn't mean it works for everyone.I drove locally for Heyl a short time and quit due to pay issues.As much of a stink I raised with my dispatcher and safety over this, i'm surprised i'm illegible for rehire.Company itself was alright and laid back.I just couldn't get past the pay issue.

 

Did you know what the pay was before getting in the truck??? Sounds like your own fault..??

 

A guy with over 30 years experience, in texas, and puts up with stupid road companies lol. All the oil work, and petroleum jobs in texas, but people scared to haul it, so they sit their fat ##### in a truck running the road for peanuts. Trucking companies rely on stupidness so they can get away with paying #### wages.
