You gotta hike up your dress, and show a little leg, next time they say no.
Then ask again.."How bout now?" And keep raising that dress til they say yes.
I hope this helps.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel. " Pick up your ##### and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised land."
Nearly 75 years ago, {when Welfare was introduced} Roosevelt said, "Lay down you #####, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land!
Today, Congress has stolen your shovel, taxed your #####, raised the price of the Camels, and mortgaged the Promised Land!
I was so depressed last night thinking about health care plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc. I called a suicide hotline. I had to press 1 for English. I was connected to a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal. They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck............brsims, DEMO, Flip Flops and 7 others Thank this. -
Thats funny!!
I am leased to landstar. And yes they wanna know everything!!!!!!! The shorter your work history the easier it will be for you.... -
I do alot of landstar loads and find them to be good to work with.
-
+1 on that Demo, Like many others he's just playing the race card when there are other reasons for Landstar not taking him on.
Lilbit, DEMO and Flip Flops Thank this. -
Sounds like somebody didnt pass the background check.
-
For those of you that don't know LS digs deep on the background checks, they haul a lot of military freight and high risk freight so they have to so it takes time...
I don't know about the rest of you but when I "qualified" it took weeks for them to finally clear me and thats with a spotless record and solid references..
kudos to those who could actually understand the OP !! -
I just pulled a Landstar load from Fontana to Denver.....48,800#, $1700 for 985 miles....shame on me!!
-
I completely agree with the OP! Landstar absolutely refused to even talk to me, the filthy buggers! And just because I happen to be a pagan from NW PA, too! Why I tell ya, its an absolute insult what they wanted to know! They insisted on backchecking my driving record, my work record, and everything! I even had to give them my SS number, and everybody tells me I should NEVER disclose my SS number to anyone! Then, after taking all this information, those so and so's turned me down! I'm gonna sue!
As an aside, do any of you think I have a case? After all, Landstar "claimed" they had no positions available to me just because I didn't have a truck (those lousy bleepers, I tell you what! It's discrimination against the equipment challenged is what it is!).pete1 and LSAgentOZR Thank this. -
