What is primes policy for pets? I was under the impression it's only for lease drivers. But a lease driver just told me its both just a $500 deposit. And he said their only policy is u can only have one other beating heart in the truck with you, being a person or pet.
-
Oh ok thanks for da info
-
Primes pet policy is you pay the 300 up front, then pay the rest in payments til its paid for.... Least it was when I got my pet on the truck

How is the hometime when you first start? is the pay and load consistent?

I stay out 4 weeks then go home for 4 full days, The day you get home and the day you leave do not count. So if you get home thursday then you have fri, sat, sun, mon. You leave tues

You need to be more specific, If you are starting as a student, do not expect to get home for 6 to 8 weeks. All the others are the same, You get one day home for every seven days out. Most drivers run four weeks at a time, that is the F/M like to see as a minimum time out. Lease folks go home whenever they want. It's their truck payment.
-
I don't mind staying out its just i want a steady income so i know my bills can get paid, cause i'm coming from a salary job -
While out, if you get a decent Fleet manager, and most are. You should average 2500 miles per week as a company driver. As a solo with a lightweight that translates to about 800.00 clear. Most weeks I average 2900 to 3100, You have to prove yourself to your fleet manager that you will get the job done, IE on time, safe, courteous etc.
