Also, since this is new terrain, how do find out where my 11 hrs are up? like example if I leave from seattle going to TX, what city should I hit my 11hr driving and take my 10 hour?
Bliss, ID LOL!!! -
If you want to plan the route, just use your iPhone.
Log it like you run it. After a trip or two you'll get the hang of it.
The problem with I-5 is that you can run 65 in WA and 60 in OR and CA but you can't log it that way. Everywhere else you can pretty much run 65 and log it that way.
You will only have 6 scales from the Canadian border to Amarillo TX. Maybe less on a weekend. -
CA is 55 for trucks. Tell someone 60, and the 3-4 over everybody drives will bite you in the saddle.
-
I've driven 60 on I-5 in California for years. Not 61, just 60. Maybe it's changed lately, I rarely get there these days but was out there in July and didn't have a problem.
-
there have been posters on here that have gotten tickets in CA for doing 1 over.
CA and OR are 55. WA is 60.
as for the I-5 corridor. your timestamped at every scale. WA knows where you were in CA. WA is the state you gotta worry about. besides CA. never been on the 5 yet other then to go around. i don't trust that northbound 15 scale at all. they always got customers filling there parking lot. only road i been on in OR is 84 from ID to WA. -
Iv never ever had a problem doing 60 in OR n CA in log insp or just cruisin down the ribbons ever. Got pulled over doing 65 n cop says u can only do 60 thru here driver, they know it i know it u know that 55 its just a accident waiting to happen.
