Holy Skip batman

I heard 511 and 777 Friday. But someone else has been coming thru real good here from CA but I keep missing his name.

Yeah it's been nuts. Talked to a few guys this week from Florida and North Dakota and I'm in the twin cities. It's been too much though and I've had it off for the most part.

 

The only special equipment needed is a good antenna and a clear channel. Crowded channels make it harder to talk as do the ones with people and their splatter boxes running. I managed to make one contact on 38 LSB last night, I forgot his call numbers, but I want to say he was up in Canada. I did make a contact to Canada and another to the Turks and Caicos islands on 10 meters.

 

Your in North Dakota?.....Maybe the reason you never hear me! I can't remember ever making a contact in ND...Not sure why, it's far enough away you would think skip would roll that way ever now and then...Most of the DX I been getting around Dallas here lately has been coming from the NE corner up around NY, and west to Cali and north of Cali...and Hawaii comes in late in the afternoon right before dark...

 

Yesterday was a good one.
