Now I just changed my mind and want that sleazy used car salesman to win the election. Hopefully he will keep his promise and abolish ' Affordable Healthcare Act'- that way I will not have to pay for the idiocracy of ruining your own health on purpose

Keep the politics in the political section and keep things civil in here.

To the original poster, you are getting some very good advice here. I strongly suggest that you go back and read Gman's post again. Gman is one straight shooter. To be on the conservative side, personally, I would wait at least one more year to see how things shake out on the political and economic front. If you go into a Walmart, alot of people are buying food but not so much other things. The store shelves are not empty. Therefore, they do not require restocking and that means less goods being transported. Until business picks up big time, businesses start hiring and people start buying more stuff, the driver shortage and freight that needs to be moved are more imaginary than fact. Because miles and freight have not picked up substancially, I believe $25k to $30k for the first full 12 months is a more realistic goal.

In the mean time do your research. Investigate which companies appeal to you and which schools they hire from. I suggest that you look at www.CretecarrrierJobs.com/student-driver and click on "browse schools. Also www.SchneiderJobs.com/company-drivers/driving-school-programs

Man, I wish I had a big, juicy Wendy's double right about now....with fries, chili and a SuperSize Coke.

The most cost effective and healthy way to eat I found is to take a buffet to go and graze it throughout the day. To avoid junk food it is important to have snacks like almonds, apples. I also simply buy wheat protein and drink it with water. If anybody prefers burgers instead of freshly cooked chicken or salmon it might be too late, the brain damage is done.

You know its bad enough I have to feel guilty when ordering a triple whopper combo with extra sauce, and I have to see all the calories. You think its safe when you plop down and cut on the TTR to hear some horror stories and here comes the driving force behind making me feel more guilty. Do those almonds come with chocolate? :biggrin_2559: Oh I do get FRIED chicken sandwiches. if its on the dollar menu of course. Opps off topic my bad.

I do not have anything against chocolate. Sometimes it just seems obese folks (besides being an eye sore) stop having a sound judgement about diet and health in general and that is or rather was OK with me,it is not like you are my relative. But with recent developments in this country it looks like everybody is going to pay for this, it just feels like if I had roommates and they had 2-3 DUIs and now besides smelling their breath in the morning me and them are going to be on the same policy:biggrin_25513:. Id also make cigarettes cost at least 15$ a pack. So that when they have cancer part of that money could go to treatment or hospice care.
