If you lived in Miami I would highly recommend to you Armellini. You could definitely clear $800-900 there. They are a floral carrier and not only pay by the mile but pay per stop too. Home time is excellent due to the type of freight they haul. Usually out 5-7 days at a time. All loads originate out of Miami.

Shouldn't be any shortage of jobs up there in P.A. Try Craigslist, I often see some really good gigs posted on there. Also here is another site that will help you find the less known, smaller mom and pop companies up there...

    Good luck man...

If you gross $1000 a week, you are not going to net $800, especially if you have state taxes. Just payroll taxes are nearly 10%, and that is before your state and federal taxes, insurance, and other deductions you may have. If you have to have that much to pay bills, you really need to find out just how much you will net after all deductions are taken out before you commit to something.

NO. I worked for a company just down the road from Armellini that did the same exact thing. Actually currently I work for a company that also does along the same lines as Armellini. Unfortunately you have to have 3 years over the road experience to work here. So your next best bet would be Armellini.

I won't lie or sugar coat it. Its tough work! That is why the pay so well though. You work hard and run hard! You run team and load and unload your own crap.

Starting off you will make really good money as a second seat driver. You will make even more money once you are promoted to lead driver and run your own truck.

Give them a call and see what they have to say. Maybe after you can post some of the details on this thread so others know the low down.
