    Getting serious about getting this rig for both voice and aprs. Any one have any thoughts or concerns? Boys over at HRO in Phoenix recommended it over the Kenwood rig.

    I have a 350 and love it. I am looking into becoming a driver and been reading around on here and told my wife I would take mine out of my car and take it with me so she can track me most of the time. The downside would be if you wanted to mount it in th dash. The head unit will only mount by itself. And th mounting bracket is crap. I took the suction cup off and superglued the mounting disk. Them used the super duty double sided tape to my dash. It is a "permanent" mount that an be removed easy. The double sided tape holds for about two years before replacing.

    but it is great radio. When you have aprs on it can tag the freq on the other side so anyone who picks up your signal
