You have TGA Truck Driving School in El Monte. Course is $3,500 cash but they do offer an array of financial assistance options. Not sure if thats too far. You also have AIT in Gardena but lately people have been saying to stay away because of poor training and instructors...not to mention they charge $8900 for truck driving course...they push FAFSA student loans on you too. Another school out your way use to be decent but they closed shop like 2 months ago...or more, i forget when.

thank you for your suggestion to "stay away" from GSF and how convenient that you suggest those interested to go to another school...may be you have a "connection" with that school???
GSF has 6, 7, and 10 speed trucks as well as 28 and 53 ft trailers and professional staff.

Call the trucking companies, most say to stay away from you GSF. You may have the equipment, but I know for a fact the MAJORITY of your students only get 28 foot trailer and 6-speed transmission training....I am a company instructor...our company no longer accepts your students. GSF, Universal and Toro have now been black listed...you are all the same.
