From what. I was told I was the 8 th o/o to cut ties this week the company.and honestly they have been a great company to pull for and have enjoyed my time there.but when you start looking around you and the fleet is getting smaller by the day it's time to access your situation on top of a lot of long distance dead heads it was just getting worse by the day.i had approached the powers at be and could see the concern on their face as well as mine and this is a large fleet as well it was time to go

Its already started to get ugly.

It is already ugly, but the good news is this. The large carriers will never venture to where the real money is, super haulers and heavy hauling.
When the sea gets rough get a bigger boat.Lilbit Thanks this. -
Its a war out there, the companies know it
its a battle of survival, either you make it or you get beat down
drivers gotta stop thinking emotionally and think logically, tactically, and for their own self interests
acting like lone individuals is good when you alone in your truck, but organizing takes teamwork, and that takes people coming together with common interests
this is what the ATA is all about, different companies who are competing against each other to work together to change the industry in their favor
drivers need to start thinking like that -
I could not agree more .problem is you can't get people together for the common good
-
This is going to end up talking about a nation wide shut down or strike. Please don't go there.
Logan76 Thanks this. -
compare it to the forecast of inaction
