So what happens this week? I will be delivering 21 miles from home Monday morning....would like to run 4-500 miles out and turn and burn back home. Freight being as it is...I wouldn't be surprised to be sent home empty tomorrow morning....

If they have to pay someone $5000 to work there, just imagine what kind of experience it is going to be! -
Yeah, we'll just have to see. I will load this morning (Monday) about an hour away from my house. Will probably get two runs- delivered Tuesday and Wednesday. Go home Wednesday night. And in my Division we have to be available to re-load on Friday morning (and then return home for the weekend) in order to qualify for the weekly minimum pay if deserved. Oh joy!

Seawheeler- I enjoyed that video! Funny!
There is a 9'6" bridge about 2 miles from where I live in Miami County, OH on Eldean Rd. There are least two people with rental moving vans chopping off the top 2-3 feet of the moving vans each year even with bright blinking yellow warning lights and signs. I guess if you are not conditioned to look for that stuff, that is what you get. All of those straight trucks looked like rental or hired moving trucks, so we know the drivers' qualifications and experience with trucks...... next to none..... LMAO
