Whether it be from Mark Twain, Confucius, or King Solomon proverbs give us short, memorable ways of learning general principals about life. Id like to know if any of you experienced drivers have any short pieces of wisdom to share from your experiences in the trucking industry. 3 simple rules to follow. First, keep your proverbs 1 to 2 sentences, a proverb is a statement, not a story. Second, a proverb doesn't need to be universally true, just generally true.
Third, bold and space out your proverbs.
That way if anyone wants to skim the thread, they can find the proverbs easily in the other comments. As a wannabe, I have no firsthand experience, so I cant credibly give any proverbs yet. But for those of you with road won wisdom, please share for the wannabes, rookies and veterans alike.
