Has anyone used the post 911 for training and got hired at like tmc, Werner or Schneider and used the ojt benefits as well?

 

there is a school in Iowa called Iowa community college and they are very experianced in the GI bill and becuase their course is and acredited college course and they have housing available it is a great alternitive for the military to look at.

 

I am using my gibill now, started with southern union state community college, in opilika al 2 weeks ago , the VA paid for the school in full, gave me some money for supply stuff, and will pay my housing stypin for a month and a half while in school. Rohel sent my the paper work to get the VA apprentice pay if I goto work for them after graduating with my Cdl.

 

Thats what Ive been wandering i got everything together just trying to find out if i use post 911 for trucking school would you be able to turn around and use it for apprentice pay as well. they say i have 36 months 100% benefits just wasnt sure how the cost of school effects that. thx

 

Once my waiting for the certificate hit the three month mark I finally called and they said oh we mailed it last week, never got it (still havent got it) but they sent me electronic copies so that was nice. im like you though trying to work all my personal affairs out before i start this quest. Had friends that jumped in head first and didn't last past first cpmany training.

 

The gibill will work for the training and the apprentice program. To get the full value goto a community college cdl program, you will get a book and supply check (very nice ) and your housing allowence, plus they will pay all of the tuition, some of the 3 week schools kind of screw you with the gibill. If the company you are going to work for participates in the apprentice program they will have the paper work to fill out, and they will send it off ( I know Rohel does)
