Warren Ohio Residents Protest the new Pilot

thought you meant Warren the town not the county. is already a mom&pop in place. just making it bigger.

the reader comment on ,"it isn't needed as there are already enough truck stops" says he ain't a driver.!lol the next one is up at the fifty mile post.

 

The level of selfishness and ignorance among the protesting body is astounding. Typical "4wheeler" attitude.

 

I am in this area ALOT, and I assure that uninformed ######## mentioned commentor/ protester, that there are definately NOT ENOUGH TRUCK STOPS in the area. Screw that guy.

 

people just like to whine even if they have no idea. stop bringing trucks to town and watch them whine.

 

I call them "joiners". Because they are always willing to "join" some cause or another. Generally seem to be losers who have no sense of identity or self-worth on their own. They get their identity from whatever cause they attach themselves to. And after that cause is over, they will find another cause to join and another reporters camera to cue up to trying to appear intelligent. That explains most of the people in PAT, Crash, Public Citizen...etc etc etc.

Probably, but this one seems to want to complain about them not allowing one.

They put a Loves in the area of my home.

Loves made great claims as to the amount of money the community would reap from it. Especially the diesel for the trucks.

Then Loves decided to only provide bio diesel which is exempted from the tax revenue that they estimated for the town.

With the truckstop coming, it has brought increased medical calls, fire calls, and police calls. There have been several hazmat incidences. All of this on the backs of the community.

There are many trucks that come to this place that just plain pull out and run people off the road. They just seem to believe it is their road only.

There was another truckstop that tried to come in across the road. It was voted down. One was enough.

 

Looking at the map on google, there's nothing there!!!

Landscaping? Why so it can better manicured than the other 60 acres of empty fields?

Oh I'm soooo sorry none of the local HS kids get get a job in bio-tech. DOLT!

If you want to work in bio-tech you get a degree, from a college, that's probably nowhere near where you live. Likewise said job. Nobody's going to build a tech firm in your backyard so you can get your kids off the couch and into a six figure job.

(Don't even get me started on what diesel mechanics are projected to earn over the next 30 years)

I bet Pilot can't even find local people willing to bid out all that landscaping they're being asked to do.

 

I am not sure, if anything is there, but fyi google maps can be old, it is not the end all be all of looking at an area some sat images can be 5 years outdated.
