    Hey,

I am considering coming over to Schneider, and would like to know how the driver facilities are kept.
    1. Do they have gyms?
    2. Do they keep the showers clean?
    3. Do yo all average about 2200 miles a week?
    4. How much is medical, dental and vision health care plans for a family?
    5. When they say home on the weekends, are they pretty good about getting you home?
    6. Do you often sit somewhere waiting for a load?

    Thanks,

    For the info.

    Chris

    1 yes
    2 yes
3 it varies in the trucking industries
4 depends on which plan u get
5 depends also on what account, region and your dbl
6 if its a live load or unload that will vary as well from 15 minutes all the way up to 10 hours depending on the customer what time your appt is what order in line you are and if they load the truck by hand and if theu have to break down the pallets when off loading

As for insurance there is only one plan now. I think it's $47 a week. Have to think Obama for the jacked up price

negative. 27.14 for a single person. Have no idea about family plans. Depends on spouse or children only or everyone.

Just landed at the Pilot in Burbank, OH for my 34... Came back out 30 minutes later, and there's snow on my stoop... Gonna be a good test for the new bunk heater and zero idle since its below freezing, but above idle limits....

Here's a question though... I stopped at the scale the other night right across the border into CT from NYC... Woke up the next morning and as I continued on to Boston, counted about 15 pumpkin parked on the shoulder, all buttoned up from the night...... I thought that was against company policy?????

Technically if your out of hours, federal dot law is over company policy. The company isn't going to pay your fines.....

I got my 34 today just now......first week out on the road solo out of the company academy. I learned so much, each stop being a challenge. I'm exhausted but feel accomplished....
