Moorpark scale hours?

    Does anyone know the hours of the Moorpark scales on Los Angeles Ave.? They seem to be closed from dark to light but just want to make sure.

    Where are there scales around Moorpark? I think the nearest scale would be 101 at the top of the hill or Valencia on 5.

    The Moorpark scales (portable) are on Hwy 118 west of Moorpark. This road is a shortcut from Moorpark to Oxnard. And also a way around the scales on the 101.

    Thank you. I have run through there a number of times & never noticed the scales. Are they open very often? I have used 118 to get around the 101 scales, usually after delivering Oxnard/Camarillo & heading in to Irwindale.

    Yeah Pardner, they're there. Kinda like a pullout type operation, never seen them open at night. Use to load in Oxnard every Monday at 5pm and head out to catch SR14 east to Barstow.
