    I know its a little late for thanksgiving,but since this is holidayseason and Im very soon to be otr and I was thinkin about my dad gettin stuck in ontario,ca on thanksgiving.1 Thanks for haulin the food I eat to the grocery store.2 Thanks for hauling the materials to build my house3 Thanks for not running people over when you have the right away.4 Thanks for the gas in my tank.5 Thanks for doin the job that many people dont think twice about.6 Thanks for stayin strong when your far from home. 7Thanks for supporting your family when its not easy.8 Thanks for makin kids smile with the air horn9 Thanks for gettin there on time.10 Thanks to all of you that never hear it!!!

    Hello JB. Thank you for coming here and expressing your gratitude. Sorry to hear that your father had to miss Thanksgiving with his family. I am sure though that his thoughts and heart were and are with you all the time.

    That's awesome to get a thanks from someone....you're.very welcome. And sorry to hear your dad had to miss out on Thanksgiving. Always someone who has to be out. I had to leave out Friday morning. Its actually nice to be able to easily park in T/S though:)

    I missed thanksgiving at home but when I hears my wife and her mom got into an argument at the table, I was kind of glad I did, lol.

    Holiday times, give your price so high that you are able to take an entire month off when you return. Make it two months if you prefer. This is what it would be worth to me. Quote them about $25,000 to do the load. That is what missing important family times like that would be worth to me. When they tell me I am out of my mind I tell them to enjoy their holidays too. Appreciate the thanks!

    Family and freinds are what motivates me ,ohh and $$$$ but thats so i can make my famiy happy and secure.Ive always been an advocate for truckers ,Ive actually heard someone say (like they cant stop,what do they not have brakes) and(stupid dumb*** I could drive that thing better than them) I just let them get done talkin and tear into them with the facts that its not easy (that weighs 26x what this car weighs).Even though I have seen some truck drivers I wonder how they got their cdl or if in fact they have one.

    I love it when people say to me "must be nice" when I decide I am taking a week off or they think I am raking in the money. I inform them they can do the same as I if they are willing to work for it, since it is so easy. That usually spins the conversation to something else.
