I was quoted just yesterday by progressive agent, who sells commercial in, you need one million liability and 150.000 to 250.000 cargo insurance depending on how big the boats are, i just pull small boats my monthly cost will be $184.84 per month with $184.00 down payment, this include full coverage on my truck, also veh brk down
and will pay for replacement truck if break down for repairs while truck is in shop, it sounds like a fairly good deal to me.:biggrin_25520:

I hauled new and used boats, and the used ones are required to have a gallon or less while transporting, this was my
requirement for safety sake plus the weight factor, i pulled all oversize loads and didnt want to add haz-mat to my worries.:biggrin_25520:

That price sounds a little off, you'd better recheck that.

I couldn't get any Progressive agent to write over $100,000 cargo for autos, I don't see how they would go that high for boats.

Well my friend, that was the quote i was given, which you should know is based on your age, driver safety, years of of being with one insurance co,your job experiance pulling boats, and last but not least the type, model and age of truck
you are insureing. Take into consideration we are all different people, different ages , and have excellent driveing records. Progressive gave me that quote for me, someone else could probably get it cheaper or will cost them more. I was
    just giving you my information..:biggrin_25519:

You will need one million dollars liability and at least $250.000 cargo damage insurance. The rate will depend on what type of vehicle you use, your age , and howsafe of
a driver you are. The mc# will cost around 7to 800.00 , and yes you have to follow the same rules as the big boys do. Good luck..:biggrin_25519:

I had a million dollar cargo umbrella coverage and I was hauling cars, enclosed trailers and boats with my wedge it was just the simplest way to do it and I could haul anything.
