As much as I wish I didn't have to--It has become quite obvious to me--I need to start looking around for a new job--I like my job--and what I do and frankly make a very good living--BUT--the company is in the process of turning management and full decision making to the next(4th)generation. As much as I like the kids--they are moving in a direction I am very uncomfortable with--including expanding a small family fleet into something much larger.
So let's just say I am starting to explore other opportunities.
I have over 30years OTR--My record is clean-I have NO CSA points and I have never been involved in a chargeable accident...
Almost all of my experience is reefer and mostly Long Haul LTL--I have extensive produce experience--but have hauled just about anything you can put in a box--LOL
I live in NE PA--where my wife is from--but I am from a small town in Fl. I am fairly easy to get along with and used to working on my own w/little or no office support. I am used to dealing with customers directly and understand that this is a CUSTOMER driven industry--and I fully understand all that goes along with that.
I am not afraid to work/run hard--I just want to be properly compensated for my efforts and be able to spend some reasonable time with my family when that work is done. I don't think this is too much to ask for. I ask/need very little from an employer--other than trust-truth and respect. I am very particular about equipment and treat it as if it is my own. If needed (you are not out of this general area)I can properly and safely secure equipment while I am off.(I live in a small rural area).
I know there are many people from out of the area--that run up this way a great deal--so maybe we can work something out?
Thank you for taking time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you.

Well haven't looked at this in awhile--was actually hoping to stay put--BUT--it has become more and more obvious--that the system is changing to a point that myself and most of the old timers are no longer very comfortable working under the new mgmt..
So I thought I would ask again--if anybody was in need of a very experienced driver--with a very clean record
Thanx in advancemje Thanks this. -
