Don't have to worry except construction zones or maybe going down a hill a bit heavy. I can hold it to the floor all day long and I'm not going over 63 but I prefer the cruise which is at 61 so as not to cramp my foot.

    Big Chief:
For your sake OP, please don't view it as being screwed. Look at Bayle. He stated he was able to drop 40 lb. in 4 months. If going from 18 1/2 to 18 is all it takes, you can do it. If you have a vision, don't let it be destroyed by one impediment. Address it and come back to confront the beast. I envy anyone who has the opportunity to do something proactive to address anything standing in their way. Not all of us are that fortunate. Keep your head high and your vision intact. Be safe and keep on moving FORWARD driver.

    Big Chief Thanks this.

Yeah maybe I wasn't clear. Just because you might need a cpap machine does not mean you can't drive. Just means you need to use the thing. I will also add that it can be very important for your health as sleep apnea can be pretty serious. My own father has been using it now for years and he had a very serious case. If he goes a night without using it he feels like crap the next day.

Yeah I'd like to second this. Sleep apnea is very dangerous for your health regardless of whether you're a driver or not. If you're a driver it's just also dangerous for the people around you. If you think you might have it, definitely get it checked out if at all possible. People have had heart attacks and died in their sleep because of it -- I recall an NFL player who that happened to a few years ago.
