Well got a message before my delivery this morning that the consignee didnt order this load and was going to refuse it. So I am now headed back to shipper :) . Talkabout an easy day today. I get paid the same rate to return it so a definite upside to that. I was worried Id get the dirty end of the stick on this deal but Mav is makin it good.

A friend of mine had that happen to him and the customer let him drop the trailer on their yard and Maverick let him bobtail home and go back Monday to get unloaded. I think he said he deadheaded 200 miles home and 200 back. He had a Friday delivery and the customer quit receiving after 1500 on Thursday.

Probably preachin to the choir here, but don't park in the lot in NLR with an ugly tarp job on your trailer. The instructor might turn it into a "teaching opportunity for the whole class". Especially when they pull the tarp back and see you didn't use trip straps, or double tarps on two aluminum, skidded coils.

No, we received the lesson. I'm supposed to be going into a trainer's truck this week.

I assure you, Big Jim isn't the guy that would need such a lesson. Also, not to gossip, but the driver stating that he couldn't help fix his mess because he "Left his safety vest in the dryer" didn't seem to go over well.
