Not my truck but my friends. 2007 Freightliner Coronado, Detroit Series 60, 515 HP with 710,000 miles. New turbo recently installed as well as radator and heater core. Approximately 600 miles after turbo replaced truck sporadically sporadcially leaks coolant and turbo cuts out and exhaust spews heavy black smoke. Engine has been pressure tested by local mechanic and all was fine. No coolant in oil and stacks show no sign of any moisture. Anyone have any thoughts?

Have a competent mechanic check the injector cup seals.

I think egr cooler also if it was injector cups it would be in oil or compression in cooling system. Stick your finger in blowby if there is clumpy white and black jelly substance there is coolant in oil. Alot of times if there is not alot and i mean alot of coolant in oil pan it is hard to tell by dipstick. You can also look at oil fill cap it will have jelly stuff. The coolant steams out of oil.
