PrePass data IS NOT SHARED with Law Enforcement
Your transaction data with PrePass is also discarded.
Its part of our contractor package so I do not know what it costs ?
It sure makes life easier when your not rolling across
the platform in front of the man.
These things REALLY SHINE on those 72 Hr beatdowns
just roll right past the jumpsuits and creepers LOL!!

I have it on all my rigs and its worth its weight in gold not to have to pull into those weigh stations every time. i think the pull in rate is 25% if your safety rating is ok, closer to 5% if you have an excellent rating.
it can also double as an EZ pass toll tag that is post paid so that helps also. Customer service is really good as well. I had an issue with one of my devices and they overnighted me a new one no questions asked, its a good deal boss. -
As someone who has been out of trucking for 20 years (and back in for the past 3 years) I say "God Bless PrePass"! In the old days it was a never-ending series of slow-down, stop, weigh, speed-up of scales. Rarely, do I get the red light on the PrePass...so I sail on by the scales
. We also run FastPass for the bridges and I believe that the combination of both systems actually saves us money. If it doesn't save us money, it sure saves time and aggravation which is worth the cost to me. I drive from Nevada to the Bay Area at night and it is rare (other than Cordelia scales) that I have to stop for scales or bridge toll (roll through at 25 mph).
I do notice that some scale houses rarely turn PrePass on (like Cordelia on I-80 in California), but I think that is because they have the Antelope scales (to the east on I-80) so rarely open anymore. -
How do you buy a pre pass and what are the costs? I like it to it makes it easier on the road. I heard your wait must still be right or it well trip the light . If your running the right way your going to get a green light it keeps you up to date with DOT as a driver or company as well.

I love prepass
If you are a OOIDA member you get a discount. Call prepass and they can set you up a account. -
"Big Brother" doesn't give a rip where you are or were unless you get into an accident or something. In that case, you had better get rid of your cellphone and make sure any charges for anything match up to that book. Big Brother is the least of your worries. It is that enterprising lawyer working for someone that is going to give you a rear end exam on everything you have done for the last 6 months. And it isn't about what they can prove, it is all about what they can get a judge or jury to believe. So, the prepass may just save your bacon if you are logging correctly. If you are not, then prepass won't mean a thing either way. You will go down.

18$/mo rarely do I get a red light, its got a lot to do with the safety rating!!

OOIDA members get a discount, and with the new rate increase I think we pay $15 per month per truck now. It's very convenient, and every time I get to hammer down on a green light, it brings a smile to my face.
