regional position

    ok so a recruiter told me after training i became upgraded to a regional midwest driver. because of the state my license is out of I only have that choice available to me. anyways. how is regional midwest driver position. also do we have to unload our own loads or is it mostly no touch freight

    No touch. I drove midwest ( Im originally from chicago) and it was not bad unless you hit inside chicago.... Going to those huge meatpacking places in Dodge city is a bit of a nightmare....Whole city smells like cow #####. I preffer the west coast myself. I had nice time in oregon.

    I really dont see how your license state limits you? My license is in Tennessee and tennessee is one of the few states they didnt send me to...I drove east to west. You might get a trainer with a dedicated route but most likely you will drive everywhere.

    Recruiters are full of crap. You can drive anywhere. They do need midwest regional. They tried to get me to take a chicago position ( Nightmare)...I passed lol. My point being, you have options.
