Yes it was a long temporary restriction that was lifted in both directions with the opening of the new bridge in September of 2012. Your co pilot was wrong the the weight restriction also, it was lowered to 18,000 lbs 4 years ago.

Sitting in Freeland, pa getting unloaded. Watching the rain freeze. I just got a call asking if I could help out with a load going to Syracuse. I don't know if I can make it 13 miles to the pilot unless it warms up.

Wow, we are 95 miles west of you at Mill Hall and the roads are fine! Got a little drizzly rain failling but that's it. Good luck.

This is the time of year when we all have to be careful about the weather. It can change so quickly, especially in the mountain areas.
Had a truck roll this past weekend. Not weather related, but it can happen so fast!
BTW, both trainer and student walked away. Talk about a miracle!

    KMac Thanks this.

Thankful for that good news. BTW, do you have any updates you can give us on the driver that was involved in the massive pile-up on I-10 just before Thanksgiving??

He was hobbling thru the halls last week. Cast up above his right knee, but in good spirits.
Download from the truck shows he was traveling at less than 20mph and braking (not hard) when struck. Fits his story on how he was braking for traffic ahead when struck from behind. Sounds like FedX is gonna eat this one big time.

Dryver, nascarchuck, KMac and 2 others Thank this.

    Yup.

We repowered a FedEx load in Cheyenne Wednesday night that's due in Kent WA today by noon. After getting held up in Cheyenne after the repower because of high winds and a "no light trailers" advisory (load is only 15000) we finally get cleared to roll around 0630. Things were going great until we stopped for fuel in Ontario and heard they put the chain law up around the town of Meachum OR. Called 511 and confirmed it. So we rolled over here to Baker City where we sit this morning. Its supposed to snow until tomorrow morning so we may be here until then. I hope not.

Anybody in here on the chain gang? Lol
