There are (that I know of) two states that have passed laws stating that local drivers are entitled to overtime pay if they start and return to their home terminal. Not sure how it works with line haul and don't know the exact details of everything. Washington State is one of them (hence my interest).

 

$17 per hour and 60 hrs a week? How dare they try to starve you.

 

A thousand bucks is a thousand bucks. Plenty out here doing a lot more for a lot less.
