I always wonder what I would do if where I worked currently closed its doors or lost all of their contracts, where would I end up, where would I apply? I seen a few threads on here lately about drivers changing jobs, whats your short or long list of companies you would apply?

I have no clue where I would go...

    maybe:

    Chadderton out of sharon pa
RK campf out of salem oh

I would want to haul mostly steel, prefer to never touch a lumber tarp again...

I pull a flat/step and have not had to tarp a load this year (did untarp 3 or 4). Not alot of choices that I could make doing the same getting paid what I do and still be home every night like I am now. I would probably look to switch to a dump, maybe haul coal.

Not at all. I enjoyed pulling one back when I first started. Wouldn't mind running beef from KS to Chicago or something of the likes if I could.

I also would think about applying at Trans-United by my house or Berhardt and run a crane

I will say it is wise to always have a potential employer interested in your resume,as in my experience one temper tantrum can change everything. I have been with my current employer almost 2 yrs BTW. Still. One bad day on the office end coinciding with a bad day on my end...Know what I'm trying to say?
