Course (I'm guessing) the Chinese mail-order bride biz is still doing quite well.

 

And that does not count the times that she would jump in her car to meet me at a truck stop that was 75 miles from where she was living. Sometimes we'd just have dinner together, sometimes she spent the night in the truck with me. We were able to meet in Vegas once, and in Mesquite a couple of times.

It just wasn't a very fun time in our lives, but we are totally dedicated to each other, and we were both dedicated to the plan. It worked out very well in the long run.

So do you think that gay people don't hook up? Come on, they have long term relationships too.

And that is just plain silly. Perhaps it is themselves they feel sorry for, because they can't believe they could make it "on their own." I think that most mature, well adjusted people will realize that there are as many different, and appropriate life styles, as there are people. Thank God we are not all "cookie cutter" copies. . .

 

I started driving when I was 21. I didn't date much then. I had one girlfriend for a few months but it didn't work out. Now that I work local, I have more opportunities, just no time. Twelve to fourteen hour days don't allow for much time to do anything after work. But its not something I obsess about.

 

Yes, it's booming. I got one 30 years younger than me and 8 of my friends did the same. 5 of them are truckers. Found them on blossoms. I was 58 and she was 28 at the time. Two children now, one just entered first grade. She really enjoyed going with me when I was pulling reefer 48 states; she had to quit after pregnancy.

I have a 16 yr old stepdaughter and a 3 year old daughter. My job before coming back OTR was overnights at a Walmart so my kids were used to me not being home at night so the transition to OTR wasn't as much a shock as it might have been otherwise.

Now that my wife and I are headed for the big D and I don't mean Dallas, its going to get a bit more tricky.

 

Um, that deserve a LOL!! I wouldn't though, I don't know what they will do to me. One thing, I never want in my cab is ####ing. Because you are going to see a big rig shaking or rocking. So, nope, well, maybe I don't know when. But not going to let the own public know. Personal!!
