Hey folks, we got a rotten FM several weeks back. He is the only FM I've ever seen named on these threads as being an arse and I decided to give him a try anyway. WRONG!! J Jones is the bad apple everyone here says he is. We tried for two weeks to get our FM changed from him, but it hasn't worked yet. Now we are getting sent to Chattanooga to have our attitude "adjusted". We will keep this thread informed about any results.

Has anyone else ever had him who hasn't yet complained about him?

 

Don't worry your not the only one! I had him as a FM and he really is a total A-hole!! I hated him so much I would have choked him with his headset cord if I ever got to a terminal where he worked!! He is the absolute worst FM out there. I ran into some bad ones but this guy tops them all!! Climb the corporate ladder and call HR repeadtly everyday and post on their Facebook page about him. That will be the only ways to get a new FM or just finally get that jerk off fired! Good luck I feel for ya!!

 

Speaking of complaining about people, I got a call from HR while I was at home right before Thanksgiving. Seems they were getting numerous complaints about my former co-driver I refer to as "Goofy". It's about time. He's been with the company a year so they must be pretty slow to act on complaints. I'm sure my FM at the time didn't pass on the complaints I had, so I threw him under the bus too.

Right now I'm sitting at my shipper, which is less than a mile from Olive Branch, so I can get loaded and drop this back at Olive Branch...LOL. My new student was supposed to be here by 1430 tomorrow, but now it won't be until 2055 because they can't get him to the greydog any earlier. He's in Shippensburg.

 

Hope everyone is doing well. Just reading through some of the posts here and I got to say, seems like everyone is having fun lol. Vin, to bad you can't just tell from the moment the student gets on your truck if they are going to make it or not. Like there should be some kind of person reader or something lol.

I am probably going to be going N.E. regional soon, need a break from Dollar General. Love my FM's there and all the people that work there, but I am getting worn out from some of the trailers that I unload. Starting to feel things pull and strain, so needless to say I am trying to avoid getting hurt and being out of work. What area does J. Jones do? Is he someone I would have to worry about in the North East?

Hello everyone! Hope you all are enjoying this winter/Xmas season!
I'm in my second week in my truck with this new company. So far everything has been great! I got my truck 2 days into the pay week and still managed to get 2025 miles in. I got a $100 bonus on that check too even though I don't know why lol but not asking questions
This week is going to be a stretch to hit 2k due to getting stuck in Chicago over the weekend waiting on a load. I did get a much needed 34 though so it wasn't a total lost.

As for working with this company, I see the house like every 2 to 3 days so I'm def loving that!! I take a load out of Arkansas and then pick up a load coming back to Arkansas or through it so seems like I'm always home. I live 4 exits from the yard too so that helps
