    Between the government over-pricing the bid, and whatever corporation claiming tax defaults on the route, I'd say it cost the average tax-payer upwards of between 10 Kabillion and 100 Gazillion dollars, roughly..

    Looking at the pic. I believe that is Perkins hauling that ld..
    They had one like that last year they moved from Ca. to Ut. to the waste site.
    Plus when mty. they have to tear down the trl...
    Takes like 10 trks. to haul the trl. tore down.

    You wouldn't be alone. You would have the DOT certified HP with you, plus the other drivers in the push trucks. The bigger your loads get, the more time loading, Pre tripping, tarping, securing, driving, unloading...etc it takes. Not directed at you, but you can normally tell the guys who don't normally pull OSOW because they will still be impatient.
