Yeah it's not too bad. In our van division, what made me mad was the 300 mile runs and 2 days to get it there with an appointment at the end. It was and actually still is like that. Sometimes our planners don't exactly....apply themselves.Meltom Thanks this.

i unloaded one sat morning in jacksonville and they tried to give me a load pu mon afternoon 400 miles to dalton ga delivering wed am
i promptly refused it
amazingly 30 minutes later was a 1600 mile run pu sun am in leesburg fl

That's exactly it man. In flatbed I actually have a dispatcher who tries to get me 600+ mile runs. My shortest run in flats has been 500 miles but that would be pickup Monday afternoon deliver Tuesday at noon.
Things like that I don't mind.
Longest deadhead was 634 miles to get home once, took two days to get home lol. Well me anyway in my 63mph truck -

maybe for van but not flatbed even if there is an appointment time its 9 times out of 10 not on the BOL

You should have seen me the last two weeks, I dispatched my drivers and played games on my phone, that was it. The Ops Manager came over one day to ask me a question and I told him to wait a minute because I wasn't done playing.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
