Sleeping in the extreme heat or cold

    thank you both for your answers, at this point after it not working for 2 months and the co. knew about it as when he went in for his PM the shop said they didnt know how to fix it. he told his DM I am not taking the load to Pa until its fixed, he then said will I guess you will have to sit as that is all I have. I asked hubby doesnt he have a boss, go over his head and see what will happen then. He just got his Hazmat so Im sure there are a few more job opp. for him if need be. This time of year who wants to sit, and they know it. Thanks again

    I tried that once. Jammed a bar between the steering wheel and the pedal. No good. The pedal had to be pushed and released to keep running. Maybe Rube Goldberg rubber band and clock-work might work.

    I have a APU. I wouldn't want to wake up all sweaty. In coldness I think sometimes when I'm tired as hell and don't want to do anything. Instead putting my PJ, or my clothe on and go to bed.
