Start of my Schneider Career

Gotta love you guys....lol Well, I had a good day today. My OC trainer had me driving all around downtown Dallas and the highways for close to 2 hours. He said that I did an excellent job. Who says that a woman can't drive a big rig....lol. Tomorrow will be more driving and classroom time. Still loving it so far Especially when I found out they were going to pay us afterall for being off Christmas break. Still sore from not only the fall but that pre-screen test...my thighs are aching from all those squats and such. More of a reason to get my butt in the gym and get into shape. I've been good so far with watching what I eat. But, I'm missing my boyfriend already Helps that he is supportive. He keeps telling me to do what I have to do to get in my experience so that I can get back where I need to be. Just trying to suck it up and be a soldier....no crying in trucking!

No, he used to. He has not driven since he jack knifed on black ice. Said that it really scared him. I've been trying to convince him to get his CDL back.

 

Today was not a good day for me. I would go into detail HOWEVER after hearing about 20 elementary school children and 7 adults being killed today....My day was nothing in comparison so I'll keep it to myself and start fresh tomorrow. Praying
