Just finished up the app today going to fax to amy first thing monday morning but in the app i had to sign a paper saying I would team for atleast 6 months after upgrading yo first seat driver, do you really have to team? Not a really a fan of putting my life in somebody elses hands. Hell i dont even let family drive me around cause it seems like im always telling the driver to get off that cars ###(rear). I guess ill have to hope i get with a good driver if they really require teaming for 6 months. Or is there a way out? Without complaining cause im not really big on complaining.

forcing you to team for 6 months sounds a bit oppressive

no one can force you to do anything unless you are in handcuffs

How does that answer my question? Is that a yes they do or a no they dont but would like you to team thats why they have you sign the paper. Or hell could you just not sign the paper? Why everybody on here have to be a smart ###? Lol

Your hiring on with a team oriented company.
Not unusual for 2 newbies to team starting out. I did it with Schneider in 1991.

To heads are better than one. i suppose.

I can see the benefits of teaming but just don't think I would like it. My dad drove for them for 3 or 4 years solo but that was a couple years back.

Yyes they force u to team..yes it sucks..bit its only for 8 weeks. Trust me it sucks bad..im the same way about oother drivers,on the plus side i only hav two moreweeks with my co- driver( non-driver). I just figure its part of bn a new driver n the mega carrier world.on the plus side so far its the worst part of u.s iv found...but good luck gettn someone u get along with.

Thanks driver, that's the answer I was looking for lol but atleast it ain't 6 months like the paper says. Im pretty laid back so there probably wont b any arguing unless he can't drive. I know a lot of people talk about not being able to sleep while teaming but im used to being in a moving semi from spending my whole summer as a kid on the road with my dad who drove for USX. Im just ready to hear back from them so I can get this show on the road. I been waiting too long to a trucker and this gay ### gas station job is killing me with 2 kids

The above is correct about its only 8 weeks of teaming. It will suck if your not a fan of teaming. But it's better than your gas station job no doubt about that. You'll make more money in a week of teaming than you most likely do in 2 weeks at the gas station. You might get stressed dealing with your co-driver but you'll at least be less financially stressed...just try looking on the bright side of things
