Learn what? There is no indication the the study which started this thread is going to lead to any new regs. None. Doesn't mean it won't, but it doesn't mean it will either. But for the sake of argument, lets choose to look at this through very jaded eyes. Lets say this study is going to lead to more or different regulation. Lets also say these regulations will mean we all make less money. Ok so what do you suggest we do about it? Do we as drivers really have any meaningful power to stop it? Instead of looking down your nose, why not make a meaningful suggestion for what you think we ought to be doing that would have a reasonable expectation of making a difference in our favor.

I find a lot of "Shoot the Messenger" thinking in people against cameras.
From what I can tell it is the stupid policies that some companies have that is the real issue.
If a driver is driving over curbs , doing U turns through ditches , running off the road which we have all seen happen it is a good thing that a camera busts his #####.
When a bump in the road (it has be be a big bump) sets the camera off and the driver has s a bottle of water in his hand this is not an issue IMO.
If this is an issue then it is the policies at the company not the camera that should be the focus.
