Total Transportation?

can anyone fill me in on total,good company,bad company,miles,northeast running,pay.waiting on loads,trucks,do they dispatch or does usxpress,what is prupose of london,tn.yard,thats not a drop off point for teams,so solos can run rest of load to northeast is it,thks.

 

Ran Jersey a lot, a solo would bring a load up from Ms. or La. and we would run it up to New Jersey

 

We are going over to total in Jan. So nervous, been with current company almost 12 years. This is a big move for us. Hoping to hear good things about them.....

 

jersey does not sound to good,if u r a team u will b alright,solos get all the crap loads,just like at usxpress.

 

-Miles depend on the freight market

-Yes you will see the NE occasionally

-pay is based on your experience

- you are dispatched by Total

-equipment is a lot better than most places

-Loudon, TN is a Terminal. I'm not really sure what your asking.

If your afraid of the northeast then scratch Total of your list because you will go up there. Furthest I went when I was with them was Boston. Did a lot of New York state and New Jersey. Furthest west I went was Phoenix and made it to Michigan and Chicago quite a bit too. I lived in Florida and Jackson, MS was my home terminal.

 

alot of companys have a terminal about 500 miles from nyc ,so teams can get all the miles out of the loads,than repower to a solo,like usx,a terminal in midway,ohio old victory terminal.

 

Terminal in Medway closed quite a while back.
