The NAME on your truck

so if your authority is in your personal name, then name on the truck must be your name. thats the reg, i understand that

just wondering if it is different for anyone who has not incorporated or formed an LLC, do any of you guys have your name shortened?

 

i asked OOIDA about that, she said that was no good, but i have seen many O/O's with their initials, my thinking is that they must have started an LLC with their initials

thanks for that though, i will bring it up again

 

and here i am thinking truck drivers were a higher class of people

 

i have had "leased to" for years and thats the only name i have

 

someone more knowledgeable than me can answer that one, i have no idea

i didnt want to put any other name while "leased to" because i dont want to confuse the DOT man

he sees the DOT number, he sees the name of the carrier, he is happy
