My question is can I legally pull a 53' wedge with a 3500 regular cab pick? Would that be over length? What is the allowable length I can be as a hot shot car hauler?
Trailer length.

65 foot end to end if you have a bed on truck.
-
The bed is off what's the length for that??
-
I think its 75'? But im not sure, OH wont let your trailer be over 53', and no overhang.
-
You're are correct. With a bed it is 65' and without 75'.
-
What difference does the bed make, on the overall length?
-
With the bed on your considered a straight truck. With the bed off your considered a power unit. Basically without the bed your just like a big truck.
apyles Thanks this. -
Overhang is allowed. I can't remember which is which but no more than four foot over hang on front an no more than three feet on the back. Or it's the other way around. I forget. Maybe some else can clarify that one for me.

Not in ohio.

I'm sure it's a state to state thing but ga one that will allow over hang
