When you say overhang, are you talking about cargo over hang? Like a car over hanging the front or the rear of the trailer, Or the over hange of contact points. Like the trailer hitch point on the front or the over hang from behind the rear axles? I know this may seem like a dumb question to the ones who deal with it :biggrin_25514: everyday, but i am just a little courious.

With a bed, you are considered a pickup truck, without you are considered a tractor. I don't know about the front, but in most states, it is a 4 ft overhang in the rear... with proper lighting affixed for safety. I had this issue with being over dimensional. I wanted to keep my bed on the truck because I run California alot. In California, if you are a pickup truck, you do not have to enter weigh stations. I solved this problem when I had my trailer made. I had them take 6'' off the neck of the trailer and that brought me 2'' under the 65' mark.
