That sounds like a good time. I'm in between snowstorms here in Gorham, NH. I'm deadheading from Vermont down to Hollis, ME going to Breinigsville, PA for Friday morning. Really hope it does not decided to just start dumping snow tomorrow morning through the White Mountains as that will make for a wild ride empty. Be safe all.

He lives one town over from Poland Springs. On rt202 in Alfred. He is hoping if he gets hired, he can do water runs. Home time with wife and two sons.

I appreciate the update. It was on and off all day, not bad. He will have no problem running water, it pays the bills at Wolding. He'll probably get my first trainer, he lives in Shapleigh.

John K Correct? He has met with him before. When he got out of NCTI two years ago, he had wanted to go direct to them but he had a speeding ticket from 2.5 years before and they needed three. No that his current company is heading into thier seasonal slowdown he figured maybe time to jump. I told him to call him again.

You past right through my neck of the woods on 87 near saratoga. At least you had good weather heading up through there. We havent been getting the winters we used to get in past years in the Adirondacks lately. You were probably better off taking the Ferry over this trip. Rt.4 which is the main route to Vt out of NY has been closed down near Fort Ann for a few weeks now due to a rock slide.

The drive was nice and easy, took the ferry from Plattsburgh over to Grand Isle. NY 29 is a pain when you have 44k in the box. Was gonna take 8 across to 87 but I needed to get fuel in Fultonville. A fun drive nonetheless.

Thank God I woke up early to get here for 0800 at Hollis. Got here at 0745 above my load isn't loaded yet, they had "a problem" with the product and it won't be ready until later this afternoon. Good thing I don't haul a reefer and sit around. At least I'll get some detention out of this.

Howdy all! Hey Leylandauto you can also try http://www.hireright.com for employment history although they take about 2 weeks for the info. I hope everyone is having a safe day! I'm in Cleveland Oh. getting unloaded. Full trailer from sca gonna be a while. I have no preplan yet kind of makes me nervous to not know where i'm going from here with all the weather out there. Hey does anyone else buy the GPS from Wolding? Its the C+Miller Navigator I bought one and it is pretty good about 70% of the time. When driving to Ohio from Oshkosh going through Chicago Indiana and Ohio the dang thing wanted me to get off at almost every exit there was! It was very annoying! I shut it off for most of the trip. If you have one of these do you have any tricks to make it stop this? I think it is not wanting me to take toll roads but I have it in the settings Toll roads are ok? This load here will put me over 2k miles for the week. Hopefully one more short run to finish off the week! Anyways I hope everyone is ok out there!! Drive Safe!!! :biggrin_255:

many gps keep routing you up and down off ramps
you need to be smarter then the machine
just use it as one tool in your chest
the one between your ears is the best
and the gut that says this doesn't seem right
