you can bet less
and you know the quote
"in these hard times, you should be lucky you have a job" -
imagine the infrastructure that would have to change, from truckstops to loading docks to tight turns on exit ramps. all would have to change to accommodate this extra real estate
-
you mean like it has changed in northern nj as we jack trailers into spots designed for box trucks
-
and stick out into two lanes of trafficbrsims and The Challenger Thank this.
-
I reply with the following quotes:
Infrastructure change did not occur when we stepped up the 48 footer, or to the 53 footer. Why would it change for the 57 footer? After all, its only another 5 feet...and all us trucker driverers is supposed ta be perfessional, right?
So any accidents caused by the longer trailers will be operator error, nothing more. -
buckhead beef in atlanta yesterday
they have a cop to stop traffic
and it is still a lil bit blindside back
so as not to be in wrong lane backing across the street -
When Freightliner brought out the Argosy I read it was in anticipation of proposed changes to the length limits. At the time there was talk that they were going to add to the front, increasing the front swingout.
