I never knew these existed 57' like i need the extra 4' lol

    ive never paid attention to any 57'ers in my area then again maybe they just stayed away from the inner city roads cuz trust me i would have seen with how large the trucking industry is here in miami it would be kind of hard to miss.

    when i started in trucking if you had a 40 foot trl you had a big one. having a 57 footer would be like going to biker party with a big one

    yep, old trailers were 40', size of sea contaner. and as I remember a bit narower. Later in Europe they switched to 45', in USA to 48'.

    people say bamper to bumper limit in EU is related with railway lobby in Brussel. Yep, I understand things about narow roads, sharp curves, old towns, but Eurpean highway system is 57' ready. May be there are some places for short tails, but IMO, 57' may easily be used, like heavier trucks too!

    57 footers are all over alabama. have been for years.

    Even the "hated" state off California has had them for donkey's years.
    (short COE only for power units)
