I have seen a red button on dashboard saying do NOT press unless emergency. Qualcomm

It was an indication of the High Pressure Injection system(HPI) fitted to this engine. This system was developed in conjunction with Cummins. It made a great job of the 420 engine....more power and better on diesel.
I think Scania have something similar on the current 730bhp V8....I'm sure some of the Scania fans on here will fill us in with more details shortly. -
riverstick told you good it is hpi injection system pressure up to 2400bar
to me it is interesting that p/g/r series for export markets outside eu/au/nz/korea 420 engine is pde not hpi like here
that thing gives you 100nm more and on 1000rpm gives you 350hp instead of 280hp on pde engine improved response better fuel economy but not sure if your fuel suit it?
i heard that indonesia use diesel fuel with 3500ppm is that similar in malaysia?
while here in my country
eurodiesel have up to 50ppm
eurodiesel bs have less than 10ppm
i know some people who used red diesel for heating in hpi scania without any problem but i would not risk
730 use xpi common rail123456 Thanks this. -
In my country BHPetrol Infiniti Diesel's sulphur content is less than 500ppm..is this ppm ok???
