Drivers want to go home. I can't blame them. But here I sit on a Friday before xmas with three loads left to get out that have to deliver late next week and no capacity. I'm out of ideas. I've tried all the load boards, offered well above what we're charging the customer, called 120+ trucks and we're stuck. Tried ITS, DAT/Members Edge, and LS Boards. I'm utterly frustrated. Just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Everyone's where they want to be,when they want and all outside loads covered. Shop is caught up with everything untill thursday. Won't be able to sleep tonight wondering what's going to go wrong.

These weren't backhauls fella. They paid really well. We don't play with cheap freight. People just don't want to go to Montana or... thanks to the blizzard, Oklahoma. It's okay. Maybe we'll get a Festivus miracle!

We've been here coming up on 20 years and love it. There's always things you feel like need to be improved, but overall, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

I got a call this afternoon for a load that went from MN to SD (pickup) to OH(consignee) HAD to go by 7 PM tonight (3 hour DH) and HAD to be delivered Sat by 7 PM (890 mile loaded).

Since it would be a holiday, and I was going to have do all that, it seemed reasonable to charge an appropriate rate to include bringing me home.

It would seem it didn't have to go bad enough for $3.50 per mile for 1900 mile all miles.

Plan to pay for a rate.

Oh we did. It paid pretty decent before we put $500 on top of it.

Praise the Lord for that! I need to take $1,000 off the top on my next load.:biggrin_25517:
