I'd take a look at Home Depot or Lowe's; both have an assortment of styles and materials. If you go for one that screws on rather than glue or Velcro®, make sure the screws don't go too far through the case and hit something important.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I think a lot of folks just pick something that either reflects a physical trait they have (or want), a hobby, a location, or a play on words that's industry related. It should be short enough to be heard in a couple of syllables, so it doesn't get covered up by too many other noises, and distinctive enough to be easy to remember.
Using just letters can be a problem, as most letters have other letters that sound alike, hence the use of phonetics. "DS" can sound like a lot of possible combinations, especially if there's noise on the channel: PF, PS, BX, PX, CX, DF, etc., all sound similar. And if you use the phonetics, people are likely to think that the *phonetics* are your handle, i.e., "Delta Sierra".

A lot of people use a couple of handles -- one for local chats/driving, and one for DXing. For driving and yacking with other drivers who are nearby, something simple and short is fine, just enough so the others can direct things to you to avoid confusion. For DXing, people usually strive for something unique so they'll be the only signal on the air with that handle -- the same idea as ham callsigns.

But it isn't the same as for fighter pilots, in that you don't have to wait to have someone pick a handle for you. Choose something that seems to fit; if it doesn't work out, you can always change. Just don't bother buying QSL cards until you've settled on a handle that seems like a good match.

Geez, sorry for the really long answer. I just had my 3-shot homebrew cappuccino, and I'm too wired to do any soldering, so I'm putting my brain to work typing instead.

Arrrggghhhh! Stop me before I caffeine myself again!

LOL why do you "need" a CB handle? Did you just get finished watching Dukes Of Hazzard or Smokey And The Bandit and are having a "70's TV moment"?

If you think you need a CB handle that bad, make something up. That's how folks got their handles...they made something up. But in all reality, CB handles are pretty much a thing of the past.

Anybody ever call you a nickname that you liked? For instance, my buddies with Petes and KWs used to call me Freightliner Bob, for good reason.

Well then, get one. Like "oil spill", or "no idea", or "sanforized".
    Cheers.
