i feel bad for the both of you. those areas are not high traffic areas so your probably having troubles of a company getting you home. hate to say it but relocation might be your best bet.

I will be starting with Prime Feb 5th and probably relocating out to CO in the next year. We currently live right off a major interstate which probably helped our situation but it is tough to find a OTR company to take you on while living in NE. Best of luck with your search...

I've talked to a few companies that I can get on with but it also depends on what school I go to. In the end I felt the Teamsters school was going to be the best decision. There are tons of ltl jobs in the area and I'm not hung up on local. I want regional or otr if the home time is right. Best of Luck to you too Alamosa14 and danvan. Danvan I seen on another post you got some prehires. it might be time to just grab one and go for it, get the experience. they say 3mo to 6mo will open more doors than just being a newbie with a license and nowhere to go.
